The conference will take place at the campus of the University of Mainz, in the lecture halls of the Sports Institute, Albert-Schweitzer-Straße 22 (see maps below).
Plenary sessions are performed in lecture hall S1.

By airplane to Frankfurt Airport (FRA)
The nearest international airport (about 30 km from Mainz) is the Frankfurt International Airport (Flight information: arrivals and departures). You have about three trains per hour from there to Mainz which take about 20 minutes. You have to purchase a ticket at a vending machine at the station (follow the signs "Regionalbahnhof") under the airport. Destination station is "Mainz Hauptbahnhof" (Central Station).
By airplane to Hahn Airport (HHN)From several European cities cheap flights are available to Hahn Airport (arrivals, departures). The shuttle bus to Mainz needs 70 Minutes.
By train to Mainz Central Station
Trains called Intercity or Intercity Express are running almost every hour between all major German and many European cities and Mainz. From the Mainz Central Station it is about 2 km to the campus of the Mainz University.
Mainz can be reached via the Autobahns A60 and A63. The most convenient exit to reach the University Campus is labeled Saarstraße, Gonsenheim off the A60. Follow the white direction sign with black letters Universität.
You can get to the campus of the Mainz University either by taxi or with bus lines 6 or 6A (approx. every 10 minutes). Tickets are available at vending machines or from the bus driver. Please get off the bus at Botanischer Garten; this is the third stop if you have entered the bus at Hauptbahnhof (bus platform F). From the bus stop, follow the signs to the conference (see also the campus map).
Visa regulations and Entry requirementsFor most participants no visa will be required. Please check on the site of the Federal Foreign Office if you will need a visa.
